Therapy that fits you
Online in North Carolina
Welcome! I’m Dr. Lily (Lilith) Antinori (pronouns: she/hers)
I provide individual psychotherapy to North Carolina adults. My style is best suited to help people address longstanding, chronic and entrenched concerns. I am passionate about working with people who don’t fit the mold, or whose experience of the world is not what it “should” be — I strive to make therapy a space that fits you, not the other way around. My focus areas are in complex trauma (CPTSD) and PTSD, abuse recovery, mood and identity, neuroaffirming care for autistic adults, as well as schizoid and schizotypal personality. I have nearly a decade of experience in mental health and advocacy spaces and have treated a broad range of mental health concerns in community and institutional settings.

My approach is based in contemporary psychodynamic theories, feminist and liberation psychology, and attachment theory.
This means I’ll approach your symptoms as adaptations to the life you’ve lived, not as deficits. I’ll work to develop an authentic connection with you and create a secure space where you can be curious about who you are. I might explore the role of social systems and personal history in shaping your current struggles. I might explore patterns in the experiences you share, or within the unfolding therapy itself, to help us better understand your symptoms. My goal is to empower you to give safe harbor to even the loneliest parts of yourself, heal beyond anything that no longer serves you, and live with a renewed sense of personal freedom and joy. You can learn more about psychodynamic psychotherapy here.
My approach is individualized and augmented with advanced training in somatic interventions, neuroscience, and cognitive behavioral therapies.
